Luau of Oahu
Welcoming honored guests is another reason to hold a luau, and visitors are welcomed to luau across Oahu every week. There are many excellent luau to choose from, including the Alii Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore, the Paradise Cove Luau at Ko Olina in Leeward Oahu and the Royal Hawaiian Luau (Ahaaina) at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel. You might also consider Germaine's Luau at Kalaeloa, Ka Moana Luau in Sea Life Park, Diamond Head Farm to Table Luau in the Waikiki Aquarium, Waikiki Starlight Hawaiian Luau and Ka Waa Luau at Disney’s Aulani Resort.
You’ll dine on kalua pig cooked in an imu (earth oven), haupia (coconut pudding) and poi (Hawaiian taro starch), among many other delightful dishes. Then you can settle in under the stars, listen to live music and watch skilled hula performances that tell stories of the islands. For a colorful, interactive experience of our culture, there’s nothing quite like an authentic luau – a must-have experience for any visit to Oahu.
