Kilauea Point Natural History Association dba Friends of Kauai Wildlife Refuges is the non-profit Friends group that supports the work of the Kaua'i National Wildlife Refuge Complex. Our team operates the Visitor Center and Nature Store, and provides fundraising and outreach to support the mission of the refuge complex. VISITOR CENTER While visiting the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, we hope you will take the opportunity to visit us at the Visitor Center - featuring educational displays and videos to enhance your experience. NATURE STORE Within the Nature Store you will find a wide variety of quality educational products to help you understand the natural environment and natural history of the Kauai National Wildlife Refuge Complex, Kaua‘i and the Hawaiian Islands as a whole. All proceeds further the charitable mission of KPNHA - to support the Kaua'i National Wildlife Refuge Complex. ABOUT THE REFUGE The Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is currently open Thursday – Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with closures on all major federal holidays. Peak visitation time is in the morning, please consider an alternative time to help facilitate a pleasant Refuge visit. Please give yourself at least 30 minutes to enjoy your time at the Refuge. An entry fee of $10 is required for adults 16 and older, and children under 16 are free. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Visit: https://www.recreation.gov/ticket/facility/300018. All Federal Recreational Lands Passes are honored. Passes are available for purchase at the Refuge.
