Kauai Island Brewing Company, Kauai’s oldest Brewery has been serving great, local, hand-crafted brews for twenty-three years. Ten years ago, turning the page and starting a new chapter Kauai Island Brewing Company was born. Owners of the old Waimea Brewing Company, Bret & Janice Larson partnered up with its then Brewer of 13 years, Dave Curry to form a new venture in a greatly improved location 8 miles east in an industrial warehouse better suited to their brewpub theme near the harbor in Port Allen. After 9 months of planning and 7 months of construction, Kauai Island Brewing Company finally opened its doors on July 9, 2012 with welcome arms to thirsty visitors and locals alike. With a focus on quality beer and local, sustainable food, Kauai Island Brewing Company serves 14 in-house, micro-brewed beers. Some of the wonderful offerings include Lilikoi Ale, Cane Fire Red, Alakai Stout, Wai’ale’ale Golden Ale and West Side Wheat. The brewpub is a full service restaurant and a full bar with food offerings such as our signature Nui Nacho’s, locally grown grass fed beef burgers, Panko Crusted Calamari Strips, lots of local Bowls or our signature beer battered fish and chips. Due to the fact that the international dateline runs through American Samoa, Kauai Island Brewing Company can also boast of being the Worlds Westernmost Brewpub, upon which, one would be travelling east after reaching the dateline in American Samoa. We are truly the “Last Beer Before Tomorrow”.
